Maria overalls, helmet cap, socks and mittens

The Maria line consists of a sweater knitted from the top down, a helmet hat or a bonnet, socks, mittens, long pants, shorts/romper, dress, pants for the dress along with socks for the dress, overalls and a baptism gown. The original recipe is from 2013, and came to me and my knitting needles as I thought of my daughter who is now grown and the recipe therefore has her name, the set is delicate and beautiful like my daughter and therefore it should carry her name. the pattern I found in a pattern book that I had bought and felt I had to arrange it together in this beautiful and delicate set. the recipes are either for a newborn as a take home outfit or in the sizes 3-6 month, 6-12 month and 18-24 month, but it is easy to size up one number by using a bigger knitting needle but using the same amount of patterns given, if you want to size it up even more it is possible to use a coarser yarn and knit but use the same amount of patterns as are given. lengths are relative and do not necessarily follow sizes in knitting patterns and therefore it is necessary to target for the child that is supposed to use the set. Even if the set carries a girl’s name it is no less a set for a boy.
